In case you missed it, we mentioned about a week ago that the Acer F1 would soon be landing. October 6th is the first date on which we should be able to begin shipping that unit, which gives the HTC Touch HD a run for its money.
Also shipping on this date is the Acer C1, E1 and L1.
Three different machines with different specifications, these Windows Mobile 6.5 devices may be more suitable for you than the previously mentioned F1.
A bit like the HTC Touch Diamond2 the Acer E1 is very minimal in design, but has fewer more all practical features at a more affordable price point.

The same design as the E1, minimalistic, but very big on features. It competes directly with the HTC Touch Diamond2.

The Acer L1 brings a bit more of a classic mobile feel to the market. Utilising a popular ‘slider’ design, the L1 has a lot to offer and would be a great device to use as a first smartphone.
